Industrial Music Hosting Site?

Wed Feb 14, 2007, 9:21 PM
So I apologize for not having updated my shit in forever. Ive recently been working on film and music. Which brings me to a question... do any of you know a good site for musicians to host their songs on for free? Yeah there is always MySpace... but 4 song slots is not enough. Does anyone know a site like this that is aimed at industrial/electronic/ambient artists? Id appreciate any help. Stay well Deviants.

Aargh, i found one the other day by accident. But since i'd never need it i just disregarded it... If i see it again i'll note ya.

Also, i can't be certain but i think BBC radio has a section for unsigned artists's that is supposed to be good. Plus sometimes they pick people who've been getting decent ratings & play them on Radio 1

Hey Im checkin out the BBC Radio page now. Thank youuu!
Right now I do have a myspace actually... Its just that I feel obligated to leave the songs I have uploaded on there now because the fans seem to like them and have it on their pages... and I wouldnt want to interrupt that ya know? That means a lot to me that they are spreading it to all of their friends from their page.
So Ive used up my 4 slots and the songs up there now are just getting old in my head. Ill probably change one or two of them soon.
Ill send you the link if you want!!!

I love it :D, i'll bookmark it & add to friends later.

I'm gunna be doing album covers mainly, but will also offer webdesign aswell. i'm also offer a service where people can order like 100 of their cds putting together & packaged then sent to them (or collected). if that makes sense. There's gunna be other stuff, like 'packages' which can include like cd design, web design, tshirt, banner & stickers or something of the sort.

I can't get it up & running till i get college work out of the way though , grr.

Hey that sounds really cool. The packages idea is a good one. I like that. How much are you going to be charging?

Oh and thank you! Im glad you like! :D

i'm not sure as of yet. gunna have a look around & see what other people are charging, & it shouldn't be hard to beat since so many people massively overcharge for some poor artwork.

Also prices will differenciate due to time spend/difficulty to make & actual CDs etc will be based on enough to cover cost & slight profit :)

Obviously people i'm friends with, bands who are nice guys etc will have things alot cheaper ;)
